QR Code Maker

“A code people can scan for my menu, my wifi or my number.”

Every free QR generator online sends what you type to somebody's server — including your wi-fi password. The entire encoder is written inside this one file, so nothing you type ever leaves your computer, and it still works with the wi-fi off.

  • Links, wi-fi, phone, email and contact cards — not just plain text
  • Reed-Solomon error correction and all eight mask patterns, written out in the file
  • Warns you about low contrast, a missing border and inverted colours before you print
  • Saves as SVG for print or PNG for screens, both made on your own machine
  • A wi-fi code guests scan instead of typing the long password off the router
Freeno email, no account, no catch
Try it now → Download the file to keep

Opens in a new tab. Downloading is optional — do it if you want it on your machine for good.

  • The whole tool — not a trial or a cut-down version
  • Works offline forever once it's on your machine
  • Static codes — they can't expire or be switched off later
  • Your wifi password never leaves your computer
  • If it's useful, the other 47 are $9 each
How it works

Three steps, then you're done

Pick what goes in it

A link, your wi-fi, your details.

Choose how it looks

Colours, size, and how much damage it should survive.

Save it

SVG for the printers, PNG for everything else.

Nothing you type ever leaves your computer. There is no account, no login and no server. Switch your wi-fi off and it still works — that's not a promise about our policy, it's just how the tool is built.

Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Each tool is a single file. Double-click it and it opens in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox — whichever you already have. No account, no password, no software.

Does anything get uploaded?

No. Your numbers and files never leave your computer — the tools have no way to send them and no internet connection is needed to run them. You can switch your wi-fi off and they still work.

I'm not good with computers. Is this too hard?

The first thing every tool does is walk you through it in five short screens with pictures. Then there's a button that fills it with example numbers so you can watch it work before touching anything.

Will it work on my phone?

Yes. Email yourself the file and open the attachment, or drop the files in iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive and open them from there — then they're on every device you own.
